Default ecoboost oil change!

Hey all,

Just bought a used boost. Love it, just wondering which oil you guys use? I love vavoline, but it recommends motocraft, obviously synthetic. What's your thoughts?

Thanks

I recommend listening to what Ford recommends and going with the recommended brand and the recommended type at the recommended intervals and that's all I can recommend when it comes to oil changes.

No problem. Would be happy to recommend any of Ford's recommendations anytime.

I use pennzoil platinum in both my vehicles. You also get $1/gallon off at shell when you buy a 5 qt jug and 20 cents/gallon off with each 1 qt jug. Good for 20 gallons. End cost is less than $10 for 7 quarts of excellent oil.

My dealer uses the Motorcraft semi-syn unless the customer asks for full synthetic, then they use Mobil One. I just take a case of it to the dealer since I get it when Costco has it on sale.
