I'm sure there's a spark plug thread where that would be relevant and on topic.

Are there any recent updates from guys who have done this? I have not had the issue in a while...the one time I took it into Ford they replaced a few spark plugs but pretended like they did not know what I was talking about regarding the intercooler.

I want to replace to full-race but then I see that has not solved problems. Has anyone eliminated this problem with both weep hole and catch can?

I still like the truck I am just careful when I haul a trailer. Hauled overloaded recently to New Mexico and back from central Texas and never had the issue, but I cannot help think my motor is going to blow up someday...extended warranty ends next year

I plan to add tune, new intercooler, and catch can in the coming months, as well as full spark plug replacement.

If it's going to be a few months before you get a new intercooler.... I'd still go ahead and drill a 1/16" hole in your intercooler.

I didn't have any issues with my truck either. I drilled and it caused a mini oil spill.

Drill it. If 180 pages doesn't calm your fears, no one here can say anything to make you comfortable.

Drill the hole and save your money on an intercooler and catch can.

I drilled the hole...took it on a drive decelerated down to about 30 mph at the bottom of some big dips then floored it up the hill until I hit 70's...only a slight shutter when I got to around 70 in the past it has misfired in this situation not always but more often than not...and have had it throw code about 3-4 times as well usually when pulling a trailer up a hill. When I got home, oily water all over the back of the plastic air dam. Hopefully this solved some of my issue. I guess this takes the eco out of ecoboost
