Just searched through one of the raptor forums. It appears West Coast Differentials has "late-model" Raptor gears in 4.10, 4.56, and 4.88

Found this kit http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/fordrap...eticfluid.aspx
anyone had experience? Called SDHQ and they said it will work with FX4, just labeled as the raptor rear end.

I just spoke with Ed from West Coast Gear, 916-635-0950, and they have found a pinion bearing that will fit the original 4.56 gears so that they can be installed into 2011 and newer trucks.

Can't you order the rear 4.10 Raptor Gears from FRPP? If it comes from the factory with the gears, they should be available for purchase from somewhere

35" and 4.56 seem pretty over done you'll get zero gas but all kinds of torque. as said above 4.10s sound better or stay with the 3.73s unless your crawling or doing lots of off roading. Just my 2cents is all i could be totally wrong if i am then please put me in my place thanks all

4.56 will increase your hwy cruising RPMs by a couple 100 so you may take a small hit there but the around town mpg will improve because it's easier to move the truck around.

While 4.10 with 35's would be numerically equal to stock gears/tires they don't offer enough to compensate for rolling resistance and added weight. Most Raptor guys run 4.56 with 35s and 4.88 with 37s - I'm having 4.88s installed as we speak.

" Most Raptor guys run 4.56 with 35s"
Don't Raptors come stock with 35s and 4.10? If so, than I would think that 'most Raptor guys run 4.10 with 35s' would be a more accurate statement?
Just academic for me right now. at this point in life, I'm not sure it's really worth the money to regear for me. My 3.55's with my 35" tires seem to be working out just fine. And I could find a whole lot of other uses for that $2000 it would cost to regear to anything other than my 3.55. Especially since you'll never get that money back in resale value.
