on a boosted engine? Seems like a great way to get a boost leak.

All of them since 2011 have one bolt on that sensor.

For the heck of it I am switching mine out again this weekend, gapped to .030 instead of .032. I know it may be foolish to replace plugs that have been in for 2 weeks, but I want to see if I can recreate the gain in power and then the loss a few days later like I experienced when I switched them out 2 weeks ago.

Wish I had that kind of spare time!

Have fun.

I really don't but this is frustrating the hell out of me. Was supposed to do paperwork this weekend to catch up before we get slammed with the big melt. Gonna get to the office early and work all day and head over to a buddies shed in the afternoon and bang it out quick.

Seeing my girlfriend about twice a week and no kids has perks

After looking at the cylinder head design a little closer, I think I can see why there are problems with the plugs that are gapped way out. The intake valves are very close to the spark plug, and under boost I could see how the pressured air would be blowing out the spark. Just my thoughts

I like the way youre thinking, but the spark doesn't occur when the valves are open. However, the electrical resistance of air increases with pressure.

No, I think he said it right...

Electrical resistance increases of the air - Thus, meaning that more pressure = more resistance to spark from the plug. I had to think about it for a second lol
