Question! Stock 2011 screw other than the Solo 4" w/41k.
Installed SCT canned tune and get a pop on hard acceleration on 87 tune. Same thing when filled with 91 and set to 91 tune.
I think that I read on here plug gap? Do you all concur? I am the kind of guy that if I pull them to check gap, I might as well change them! I picked up a set of Motorcraft, thought I would gap them to .32? The thing that I find odd, on the package it says to torque to 18-23 ft.lbs.
Feedback please!

2011 with 41k miles and a tune yeah you should go ahead and change them gapped to .030-032. 2011 truck plug gaps have been all over the place. I think the 18-23 ftlbs is high. Let us know your results.

I saw those torque specs when I bought mine too. DO NOT torque to those specs, for the love of God!
There is a lot of fine threading on these plugs, so once you get them all the way down hand tight, they wont go much further no matter how hard you torque them - until something breaks that is. The 133 inch/lb. spec is plenty (or 11 ft/lb.) to secure the plugs, any more than that and all your doing is adding stress on the plugs and even worse - your engine where the plugs go in.
Greater than 133in/lb = heli-coil

Hey guys here is a little update for my plugs that i changed and regapped to .033, its defenitly better on gas, i averaged 22.3 MPG on a 155 mile trip i was never even close to doing that before, actually my best ever was 18.5 with the stock plugs that were gapped at ,045+ and that was in summer with summer fuel. Defenitly better no doubt in my mind. Cant wait in summer im sure i will hit the 23+MPG that was promised when they sold me that truck. By the way my truck is an early 2011 EB Screw 3.79 diff XLT with 18 inch LT tires.

That fixed it! Amazing how something so seemingly insignificant would make such a difference! Thanks to everyone for their input!
The plugs looked pretty consistant. I didn't waste a lot of time on them, but they were all well past .040 but not to .045!
Now to see how the mpg goes?

Ok I'm convinced to try to pull my plugs and check them I'm getting such crappy mileage in town I've got to do something. Can anyone tell me exactly what tools I need. The last time I changed spark plugs was on a 1980's datsun with a distributer, so I know things have changed like coils on the plug wires now, etc.
