Any better performance/economy switching from the stock ford plugs to ngk 6510? ...on stock tune or custom/canned tunes?

Not so much for economy or performance...I switched because I run an "aggressive" tune often and colder plugs = less chance of detonation. More or less what if my gas isn't right...and I'm running the quarter.

all my plugs were GROSSLY over torqued from the factory. nearly twice the factory torque specs on one of them.

Well, I currently have Gotts mod, 4" heartthrob with magnaflow muffler, and 5* 91oct perf/tow tune. Airraid CAI sitting on the floor. ..just checking the difference between intake air temps between the two.

Sorry just saw "any performance". Didn't see economy part. Wot I see no diff other than no more breaking up at diff rpms.

What the heck JC. You stated this and then posted this pic of your dash. Those combined make us think you did see economy gains. I'm usually always on your side but you seem to be contradicting yourself

I think you're reading me wrong. No performance gains other than a smooth rpm ascend. Economy gains are phenominal as that picture shows.
