Not really, there are plenty of guys who supercharged their 6.2L raptors and shot rods through the block. The 6.2L wasn't meant for forced-induction.

It's true the 6.2 needs a very good tune to handle boost. Cast pistons don't help but the problems early on were from crappy tunes and/or bad gas.

We are talking about more than 30k in price difference. That's a forged shortblock, turbo setup, upgraded suspension and the labor to have it all installed.

For over a $100k you can build a forged 6.2 with twin turbos and be faster, stronger, and sound better than that Eco. Hell, you could buy a raptor for $60k, and drop another $40k in the engine and be better. I'm not seeing the appeal of this at all. Cool job and nice conversion but eh.
