Dual Exhaust on 2011 v6 Eco-boost engine?
I was wondering if anyone knew how dual exhaust sounds on the new 2011 v6 eco-boost engine? Is it loud? Does it sound terrible? Would you recommend other pipes?

Mbrp has a dual cat back kit. Last time I checked there was no sound clip yet on the website. Waiting to hear it. A guy I work with has a Grand National with duals and it sounds good. Hope this kit will be as good as their diesel stuff.

I drove straight to the exhaust shop when I got my ecoboost to have an aeroturbine 3030xl welded in. It sounds deep and smooth at idle but of course that goes away the higher you rev. It has some sound inside but not too bad at all. The factory muffler, although very huge, is s straight through design. You can see right through it. Anyway I hope to get a clip up soon.

I can't imagine there being much performance gain from a cat back system or in this case, resonator back. Maybe if there was a ypipe with cat deletes and a tune, then you'd see a major improvement. I just wanted a little bit of sound and I acheived that.
