Default catted downpipes vs non catted

I have recently purchased livernois catted down pipes. There is hardly any noticeable noise difference in theses from the stock unit. But I was wondering is there a significant difference in performance from the catted units to say a non catted downpipe?

Probably a few hp max. Stick with catted unless you want a smelly exhaust.

Pretty bad. Stick your head behind a 72 Chevy van missing on 2 cylinders and that the smell. Crank the truck in the garage and the fumes will fill your house.

The Livernois web site says 9-15 hp gain with their downpipes.

I saw the power differences on the site just didn't know the difference from catted to none. Thanks for the help guys, I think I still with what I got its just time for the cat back which I think I'm going to go with full race setup without the resonator to hopefully get a little more of the turbo noise. Thoughts or does anyone have this combo?

Rodney, have you noticed a significant increase in power with your Kooks down pipes? I'm gonna get a set just so I can say I have full bolt ons.
