I'm not looking for racecar performance out of a truck but i hate feeling underpowered. My last truck was a 09 GMC with the 6.2 which was a beast but the mileage was horrible.
retoxtony, If you choose to go with the 3.5, you may want to call Ford Canada and give them the basics of what your looking for (Plat, EB, etc..),then let them search larger sections of the country for you.

Best of luck.

Couldn't see any Ecoboost tags. I think it was a 3.7 that 5.0 smoked.
Of course my eyes aren't as good as they used to be either

That's what some comments say but I don't think that's the case since you cant see even if you wanted too its too far away .. I've heard of 5,0 guys scorching the Eco boost

The other issue that I have with that video is that we don't know if it was a true drag race. Were both trucks wide open?

I guess we gotta assume so.. Other than assuming it's right nobody ever knows unless they're driving the truck that's being raced

I checked out both videos that guy has. In the other with the white EB, you can clearly see the logo at the same distance.
Although in that one, he lost clearly on bad reaction time to that hemi.
So I'm pretty sure that is either another 5.0 or the 3.7.

There's a video I Seen somewhere that shows all the trucks. The blue one was a 3.7 and the other was a 5.0.

finding a black f150 will be a little tougher than normal. We went a few weeks in the early summer not running black because a shortage of a pigment in the black paint. The dark blue looks really good in the platinums. enjoy your new f150 and thanks for buying ford.
