I'll start with the pictures first! Thats all you damn people care about! Might as well start a flip book! Details below.. limit 10 pics lol
So I was driving yesterday on the highway and all of a sudden I lost power (please note that this isnt the first time I lost power and started to miss fire and was documented before 1000 miles on the truck) since there was no where to really pull off I pulled to the right to let cars pass me. It had issues shifting as well. Well the first time it happened to me I was on the PA turnpike which isn't exactly the best place to break down at in the construction zone.
Took it back to Ford dealer where I purchased it and they didn't believe what claimed. They look at me and think I'm just a damn kid (I am only 24 but I work on $5 mil cancer treatment machines - not incompetant) so all they did was reflash the ecu and I was sure to get copy of their work order.
I did get all of my service (oil changes and inspections at Ford dealer) But back tot he story I was driving and then started to hear ticking and wouldn't increase in RPMs having trouble shifting this time there was no check engine light on but got an instant low oil pressure on the convenience screen then poof! nice big cloud of smoke under the hood then a nice trail of oil behind me!
Then of course the cops came set up flares and I didn't have the option to call tow truck they did since it was a hazard to be part way still in the road. Of course it started to draw a nice crowd of people everywhere to see the new ecoboost on a tow truck even when we did pull in to the ford dealer. And another thing that irked me was when the driver set the truck down the tow chains damaged my plastic bumper gaurd underneath..
With all of that said I spoke to sales manager and waiting to hear back to see a price for trade in but better yet its one of those things that "I told you so" the first time but now everything is in writting and I just got my oil changed about 2 weeks ago at the same dealer but just next town over.. Only has 18,xxx miles on it and will be looking forward to my rental car lol but after thinking with engine and shifting (transmission problems) im thinking the common denominator of the 2 is the ecu.
I'm still uncertain if its the engine possibly turbo but I know it just isnt a line. I do baby it since it is a new truck I do tow 28' enclosed car trailer but since there is no turbo timer I let the truck idle before after driving it. And of course this is my first american made vehicle I do love ford trucks my girlfriend has 05 v10 lariat her pap has 11 lariat diesel her gram has lincoln towncar her dad has 08 lariat diesel her step mom had new expedition her mom has ecoboost f150 her step dad has f250 never had problems..
I would really like to see the comments on this thread!

Please post the details when you find out what happened. Whether it is just a simply fluid leak gone major OR the result of excessive condensation causing hydro lock damage. Minor or Major, let us know.
