Base Vehicle Frontal Area Without Trailer Tow Package

60 sq. ft. With Trailer Tow Package or Max Trailer Tow Package

Frontal Area
is the total area in square feet that a moving vehicle and trailer exposes to air

resistance. The chart shows the limitations that must be considered in selecting a vehicle/trailer
combination. Exceeding these limitations may significantly reduce the performance of your towing
vehicle. Selecting a trailer with a low-drag, rounded front design will help optimize performance and
fuel economy.

You stand corrected, on both accounts

Look at your window sticker if you have it. If not there should be a little metal stamped tag on a bolt on your rear differential cover that will have your axle gear ratio stamped on it.

Not sure if I should debase myself by responding, but anyhow....
It was never stated what he had for a hitch, so you are making assumptions.
And a tow package does not make it easier to tow, it just equips the vehicle correctly. ( my dads truck had the equipment added after purchase.
Not rocket science....

So if your truck has the tow package, what is your concern?

Even thought the 5.0 have less torque and gets it's max torque at 4250 instead of lower in the powerband like my old 5.4, you should still do fine with that amount of wheight. From experience, I would do what Mike said. Lock out 6th gear or that thing will be constantly shifting in and out of 6th and you will loose speed. Don't be alarmed if it drops all the way down to 3rd on some hills, that is normal on the 5.0.
