I have the 3.15 gears and I'm planning on doing a bit of towing with my eco. The truck pulls my TT fine but i'm limited on a TT upgrade in the future. Just curious to see if any of you offroad tire sporting ford enthusiasts have your stock 3.55 or 3.73 gears after ungrading to something shorter.

Side note... I have the locking rear gear. Is that something i would have to match up and find another locking gear; or is a gear a gear?

Never done this, so I'm wide open for suggestions and knowledge.

Oh, its a 2013 screw eco fx2 5.5 bed.
