They are both winners. But since you already have the 5* the 600.00 dollars for the livernois isnt worth the 2 tenths of a second.

I had the 5* 93 p/t tune. I ran it at the track and was very disappointed. Times were all over the place almost felt like it wasn't even tuned at times. As far a Livernois 93v2 goes it is fast. IMHO there is no comparison. The drivability on the Livernois tune is great and has all the power you want when you need it. I do think 5* has a great tow tune though.

Yes I wasn't impressed with 93 p/t. Tune just strictly for Perf either . But thats not the intent of that tune either, but it is better than my old flashpaq 91 tune

Does 5 star make a performance only tune? Or would that be the race tune?

Well. It's listed as 93 Perf only not a combo tow/Perf. Which is a different one one their list

What are you looking for in this tune then?

If you are looking for that low end feel of the the 5 Star per/tow tune with the top end quickness of a performance only tune then let me know when you find it because I gave up looking. If it can be done then that would be an awesome tune. I find it strange that Mike himself can not duplicate the low end of the perf/tow in his own performance only tune along with the other tuners I have tried. Even others like CBvet who has the Livernois tunes says it does not replicate the low end of the 5 Star, but the Livernois feels quicker with the throttle mashed.

That is why I ask what you are looking for in a tune. I have tunes that are definitely quicker than my 5 Star perf/tow, but I don't drive WOT all the time and would rather have my power feel in the rpms I usually drive in which is why my preferences favor the 5 Star. I know it is not the quickest, but I am not looking for the quickest in a daily driver. I prefer low end torque that I barely have to step on the throttle to get than all out quickness that I have to floor it to achieve. I don't race on the street and could care less if it is .4 seconds slower than another tuned Ecoboost that I may never even come across anyways. This is just me and my preferences which aren't yours so find out what you are wanting in a tune then go from there.
