The RX 5.0 can IS DIFFERENT from the EB can....the 5.0 does NOT need the checkvalve!

I have the single check valve RX can on my 14 5.0 in my Mustang. Eco Tuner said that I didn't have to run the check valve on this engine if I didn't want to. I just left it in line because I didn't want to take it apart. My can only has the intake port and the outlet port and the outlet line that screws on the outlet port is the one that has the check valve in it.

Yes, the RX single valve is good for all NA applications, and the 4.6, 5.0, 5.4, 6.2 all will take it. You will need to clean the TB good with TB/MAF cleaner and soak up all you can from the IM bottom. After the can has prevented more from entering you should rarely need to clean it, but it will take up to 500-1000 miles for what is there to work its way through.

Single valve and cleanside separator right from the start will avoid most all the oil ingestion related issues and help maintain best fuel economy and efficiency overall.

Eco Tuner Would you mind giving me an idea of which one? I understand I only need the single but I was under the impression that the kit can with hoses, instructions, etc. Would you mind give me an idea of how it should be setup on a 5.4L

Just a Teaser of what happens when you design a catch can incorporating the best features in true oil separation.

Looks very nice. Any close up pictures of the inside of the top portion of the can as well as more pictures of the other components? It is amazing how the contributions of many forum members have contributed to these many changes and improvements.

I will be doing a write up as well as posting pics soon! Joe@UPR, thank you for your support!

Another thing I will be doing is sending the collected oil to Blackstone to get tested once I get enough. My truck is kinda babied so the amount is less than others. I also did a lot of other break in things not many do so that may also lead to less caught oil cause there is less oil. All of this will be included in the wrote up!

I will be interested to read your write up as this catch can is different than the previous models. UPR is sending me their newest diffuser as well as the new filtering media for my old style can but I'm curious how these new pieces for the old style can will compare to this new can.

Yes, just specify the make/model/year/engine/and color desired. We color match most current colors (or very close), or hi polished. No extra charge:
