5.0 starting problem

I don't think it's related to spark plugs, they've been replaced 6 months ago and gapped to 0.050. Also there is no engine shudering or misfires.
Also, before trying the ECU reset, I forgot to mention that I also tried to wait about 30 sec at the On position to make shure it wasn't a patially blocked fuel fiilter or a weak fuel pump.
It it was an injector or timing issue, could you explain how an ECU reset would fix it? I used the truck four times today, weather was similar to yesterday, ran about 100 miles, without any sign of hard starting, unusual noise or vibration.
I'll have a look at the air filter but it wasn't dirty a month ago.

I will shoot from the hip and advise you that you have a connection going bad at the ECU. Problem will come back if you do. Worry about it then. Maybe your battery terminal needed tightening. LOL.

It is probably in the ground side of the plug/connector.

You're probably right about a defective ground wire. I just found that my horn wasn't working because of a bad ground connection in the engine compartment. Fix details and pictures are here:

Defective grounds are giving strange problems...
I'll post some feedback later on or if the problem gets back.
Thanks
