I'm not a mechanic, however I'm a toolmaker and therefore relate to the technical details you have posted.
Thx

well, all of the orings worked in this kit except the reservoir connector, it still had a small seep so I went with the Pegasus Racing kit from Amazon and it's dry now... I used my heat gun to loosen up the hose to slip on over the reservoir nozzle though, still was difficult so I recommend that you remove the reservoir and air box in order to prevent breaking anything and straining yourself. Thanks for all the tips on here, money saved that's for sure... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This has to set a record for the longest running thread/post ever! I traded in my 2011 in 2017 on a new F150. Hope that Ford fixed this design flaw on the 2017 models. I'm still getting email notices when this thread is updated. Thanks for all the cool Fix info.

Lol. I still get the emails as well. Always check to see what the new messages say. My fix is still holding up well

Hello all - Quick question, do you think the Pegasus mod will void my 100,000 mile power train and engine warranty? I am tempted to just pick this up and install it to address this leak the correct way. I pose the question since my Premier CPO expires in 60 miles and would include replacing the reservoir. After 60 miles, I would have to replace the reservoir out of my pocket. If it will void my warranty, I would rather have the dealer replace it in the next 60 miles and pay the $100 deductible.

Let me know your thoughts.

2011 F150 150,000 km, started leak from exactly same spot like yours in last week. Dealer said they can schedule after two weeks only, I decided to do it muself, could you please mark me which parts I need to order?

This is the actual part: Motorcraft KM5081 Heater Hose Assembly ($22 on Amazon) that you're replacing with the Pegasus Fix (which is linked above)
