Reinstalling the T-coneector was the hardest part for me. I did drain out about 1 gallon from the radiator drain using a hose like suggested. You really have to push that t-connector back on to get the Thermostat side small connector on. The O ring on the Thermostat side looked really good. The top radiator hose side was rounded out bad like everyone else. I did not remove the reservoir coolant hose due to if it is not the smaller 31x 4 mm and I reinstall it, then it may leak for sure. However if it does ever leak I will post what I find as it will be pretty easy to pop that off and deal with just the reservoir. I have to go back to work tomorrow and want to take my truck. So far I haven't seen any leaks but will check it again in the morning since it will be cold. One tip on the T-connector clamp kinda twist it to the left when you have it squeezed to help clear the under side and work it to the middle. There is also another hose I think a evap hose that you can unclip to give better access to the T-connector clamp. I did use the super lube silicone grease. So I replaced just to O rings the 37 mm and 31 mm. I believe she is fixed, thanks to Bobo.mo and all you guys on here.
Congrats on the work done. Took several days for my system to get the air out and get the AF level in the reservoir. Good Luck!

Anyone know where to find extra "horseshoe clips"? Mine vanished in the wind.

If anyone is still interested if there is an o-ring on the reservoir connector, yes there is. I think I attached a pic. I just installed the Pegasus kit. I would have tried just replacing the o-ring but the hose is new and the o-ring is fine but it still leaked. The shop wanted to R&R the tank next and that's when I went to the Pegasus kit.

Can you pull the O ring and measure it for us with a set of calipers and give us the inside dimensions in mm or inches. Im curious if this reservoir O ring is the same as the thermostat housing T side of 31 x 4 mm?

Need to verify ID on this one, but this is where it was recommended to buy the first 2 from:

http://www.theoringstore.com/index.p...oducts_id=2298

I ordered: 4mmx31mm and 4mmx37mm, need to remember what each was for?

see post 340 for use of the 2 o rings above, also post 364 for all 3 leaks including reservoir. post 399 for pegasus kit install

Just for clarification, the measurements were from the o-ring itself pulled from the connector that goes on the bottom of the reservoir of a 2011 F150 5.0L.
a more precise measurement for the thickness is 3.5 MM. I was also answering KOOLPONYCAR. He was curious if the o-ring had a 31 mm ID. It does not.

I ordered the o rings from the ebay link on here. I spent hours yesterday trying to reconnect the house to the T with the new O ring and it refused to go on. I lubed with the synthetic grease too. In all of the frustration, I lost the U clip. So I slid the hose back on with the old o ring and it went on very easily. After going to various auto repair stores and hardware stores, no one sells those clips. O'Reilly's brought out about 8 different radiator hoses with the clip (they don't carry the F150 hose) for me to look at. I bought the cheapest hose just for the clip ($21). It ended up coming from a BMW. I noticed the connection for this hose is exactly like the Ford connection. After additional failed attempts at attaching with the new o ring, I pulled the o ring out of the BMW hose. This o ring looked exactly the same size but felt like it had more play. Ebay o rings were hard. I had to push damn near as hard as I did with the other o rings but it did go on. Added new clip, filled up with coolant and so far so good. After seeing the other manufacture hoses with the same connection, I don't think this is some special part. These connectors, o rings and clips seem common.

We'll see how it goes when it gets colder.

Just a update. I have a small leak on the thermostat side 31mm O ring today, And thats the side i had a very hard time installing because you have to push so hard back on the T and then slide it over the metal thermostat housing. Maybe i pinched it or got it in a bind. Bobo.mo didn't have any leaks, anyone else? I have the extra 4.5 x 31 mm O rings so I could try that or try another 31 x 4mm? What do you all think? I wonder if ford removes the whole Thermostat housing, replacing that gasket behind it and installing the whole thing at one time?
