Im also not much of a fan of running in 4x4.... SICKQK has the technique down... follow what he says below with tire pressure and launch technique, fill up with 93, and go run some mid 14s bone stock.

Not sure what octane I was running....probably 92, I always run premium for the most part.
Don't forget every 1 tenth improvement in you 60' will equate to almost 2 tenths at the end of the track. So if you take your 2.3 down to a 2.0, you'll be in the 14.7's. That's what I would shoot for if I was you, before installing the tune.

I raced that day at Island Dragway in NJ, it's elevation is around 500 ft.

I have been racing and hearing the magic 60' conversion for 18 years, and have NEVER seen it happen in ANY of my vehicles......... From 8 second cars to 16 second cars. Once I had a baseline for my runs, any improvements in 60' resulted in exact improvements in the 1/4. I guess if you weren't getting anywhere near full power to the ground within the first 60', you would likely see more 1/4 mile gains than just a tenth to a tenth, but like I said I have personally never seen it work out at the track. Not saying it can't happen, bit don't be disappointed if it doesn't nearly double your improvements in the 1/4.
It does seem to work out close to that with bikes though, from what I've seen. Not quite 2 tenths per tenth....but usually more than 1.5 tenths.
It just so happens, with my truck I ran a 14.50 with a 2.11 60' and then the very next run was the 14.32 with a 2.0 60'. So the .11 60' improvement netted a .18 ET improvement.

I wish you luck. I hope your stock run improves because a 15.2 baseline run is pretty slow by comparison to other EB trucks. You might only run a 14.2 with the tune. Sure you knocked a second off but are still running nearly stock times. You'll see a huge difference with the tune. Pulls hard slightly past 6k and barks tires hard going into 2nd. Keeps us posted

To the OP, don't sweat it, it is only a number, there are too many things that go into making a great run down the quarter mile; shallow staging, not swerving down the track, traction, shift points, throttle application........ Besides, most of the loaded screw EB trucks that have ran at the track are in the higher 14's with I believe Geno and SICK being the quickest here to date squeeking past the 14.40's. Your times are on par with the media tests done by people that do not brake boost to take advantage of the turbos. Also, most people are running on the factory 18's, and I have seen early trucks (5.4) and heard about later trucks running 2-3 tenths quicker with the lighter wheel/tires vs the factory 20's.
Bottom line, Do YOU enjoy your truck? Does it run good to YOU? Some vehicles are factory freaks (Boss5.0, Geno, SICK) and some are duds (mine) but your seems to be right in the middle, where it should be.
