WHAT !!! Where and when will it be available? Who verified it as no risk to your Ford Factory Warranty? I' would have to see that in writing.

Curious if anyone's gotten worse MPG after setting a vehicle back to stock and removing a tuner.
Also... when installing a tune do your gauges and lights do a bunch of weird crap? I have a superchip cortex. 2013 v8. I cant get those clowns to respond to messages

Im looking into getting a cai and a tuner/programmer sooner or later. Which would be a good choice in both. Im new to this and Im looking to fix my speedometer due to larger tires, maybe better MPGs and some HP out of it. Just want some more pep out of my truck. I'd like to monitor all my stuff through it too, that would be cool too. Any advice?
Thought I'd stop by on this post sonce its pretty much about the tuners and what not>
I have a 2006 5.4l (xlt)

I just ordered a Bullydog Tuner/CAI and a Banks Monster Exhaust. I'll try and get some videos and I'll give some feedback when I get them installed. I'm hoping it's a good combo.

You are taking a chance if the dealership says the tuner caused the problem you have to prove it didn't
If it is a concern wait till your warranty is up
The tuner companies say they will warnenty if it is a problem
I don't know what kind of hassle that would be

I have a 2000 f150 5.4L, i purchased a hypertech for it last fall after reading reviews online and price. My curiosity on what it would do was the biggest reason i got one.ha But anyway i started out just changing tire size so my speedo was correct(running 285/70/17) ran that for a week or two to check mileage and it was about 13.5-14 going 350 miles a week. Then i hooked the tuner back up and set it to 87 performance, firmed the shifts and changed the rev limiter and some of the shift points. After a few miles of driving i began to notice it was like a completely different truck. Shifted so much nicer and power was there too. Handles the trailer and tractor alot better too, thats normally around 7,000lbs+. My mileage also went up to 15 on average so i was pleased to see that. Took one long highway trip the one day and got 18mpg on the way there with the cruise set at 70. As far as using the unit its really nice and easy to operate. If you can read what the screen tells you to do your good. When you first get it it comes with a cd you have to run on your computer and follow the instructions and update the tuner for your vehicle, they dont tell you that originally. Other thing i like about it is it works for multiple ford vehicles and engines fromm 99-04 i think. Overall im pretty happy with it for the money.

That info doesn't say anything about it not voiding warranty, so basically it's just like any other custom tune/CAI. Use at your own risk.
