Had the truck inspected about a week ago, passed without a problem
I have a crack in the windshield but will wait until warmer weather to have that fixed
Decided to just go with the 87 Performance tune for the rest of the Winter
Nice to have a responsive truck again
Really makes a difference

*EDIT*
Before I retuned the truck I connected the Tuner to my PC for updates
It DL 6 updates & then 95 other updates
Took over 1/2 an hour to update, but rather do that 1st before Tuning

You can have your tuner give you everything on the table and good tuner is going to tell you that you are running the risk of breaking something. It only takes a tank of bad gas or a worn part you are not aware of to make things go BOOM! A good tuner will give you the most SAFE power they can. In some cases tuners can even remove some of the idiosyncrasies of drive by wire to better the driving dynamics of the vehicle. If you haven't check out the tunes thread, there are plenty of good and bad reviews there for you to check out. Good luck and don't fear the custom tune!

Looks like SCT is working on some. Youll want to check 5* or MPT websites though.

Forgive my ignorance... I've seen this term in a couple of other threads, and this one, too. What is "WOT"? Does it mean Wide Open Throttle? And with an automatic, how does one have a Wide Open Throttle?

Sorry to hijack, but I only see it with discussions on tuners.

WOT refers to one having their foot pressed all the way to the floor on the go pedal, the trans makes no difference. Wide Open Throttle.

Got it! I thought it meant Wide Open Throttle, but wanted to make sure I wasn't being completely idiotic by assuming that.

I went with a sct limewire tuner with their tune and tuned it to 91 octane. Def has more throttle response, shifting is night and day better, not to mention my mpg is around 21-23 highway (thats what my dash says, I live and work in town, so not much highway driving for me to truly test it) if I'm driving it nice. Not too shabby for being leveled and on 33's (275/70/r18) and the 3.73 gears.
