I had to remove my rear cats due to rust and ran a super 44, but my question is will it sound better if I lose the muffler even though I do not have the rear cats in?

it'll be louder, just know you'll be getting the straight pipe sound instead of a toned muffler sound, so a little more raspy and alot more pop. i think the raspy straight pipe sound is better though anyways, i'd say go for it!

Before I put the exhaust I did straight pipe with all my cats on I just didn't know if by not having the rear cats if it would sound the same or not.

it'll just be louder and have more pop, but it'll sound similar, maybe a little deeper

Dude if you want hi-flow cats than go head and replace your headers with Long Tube headers that come with Hi-Flow cats.

Search OBX Long Tube headers for F150 on eBay. 1-3/4" primaries and $695 + $45 shipping with Hi-Flow Cats

that sounds like a great deal! but i don't have $700+ to spend right now or ante too soon... but at around $80 a piece some magnaflow hi-flows are definitely within reach. i'd love to do headers though!
