If your truck is sluggish I would highly recommend a tuner combined with a new intake. I installed an AF1 on mine this this past Wednesday and all I can say about it is WOW! It definitely makes a huge difference in throttle responsiveness. If you can only go with one though get the tuner first.

If you decide to go with Edge, better do it now. As of midnight sunday night prices change drastically. Our price is $350 today, but we are forced to raise it to $449.10 at midnight sunday. Just a headsup for anyone on the fence.

Diablosport.
Their Predator tuner is awesome.
plus if you have any warrenty issues, they leave no watermark on the computer like Edge and Superchips.
They have free online downloads available too.

Gotta love the MVP stuff. Unilateral pricing isn't a bad thing though.

For that price there is no reason to go with an Edge and "canned" tunes over an Xcal II and custom tunes. Not meaning to bash the Edge, from all that I have heard and read it does a great job at waking up these trucks, but a custom tune is the way to go.

I know all about custom tuning. We sell them everyday. I run custom burns in my truck, and our shop vehicles.
The Edge is a very good product, and even at $450 I personally think its worth the money. You still get so much more for the money with Edge. The performance tests, gauges, data logging...much more than you get with the Xcal2. Remember this is a gasser, how much more hp do you really think you can squeez out of that engine...5 hp maybe. Now if they put a diesel in the F-150's I will gaurentee the Xcal2 will be the way to go.
Its just my opinion, and not ment to upset anyone.
