Angry SCT MAC Issues ???

Ordered my SCT Tuner and went to install it and it told me to run auto update. So i get one my Mac to do so and SCT doesnt seem to have a Updater for Mac... any suggestions that wont cost me money out of pocket for a new laptop or program ?? I'm already in the dog house for spending $5** on the tuner lol .. thought it would be worth it but now im pissed off lol ... This is agonizing having this thing sitting here and not being in my truck like its suppose to be!!!

Which turner did you get?
I just went through the same thing with my MacBook pro
PITA
You can run Bootcamp(free) or parallels or another one called fusions (I think) cost money for the latter 2
Me myself am lucky to be able to turn a computer on much less do that so I paid $150 to have my HP desktop(windows) fixed.

I got the livewire ts ... I tried parallels but couldn't get it to work as I am not a computer guy either and you need to have a windows cd ... I've heard of boot camp but have no clue how to do that stuff lol ...

Livewire TS here also
By any chance do you have applecare, theyll walk you through it.BUT,,
you sill need to buy or have windows.
It sounds like were in the same boat as far as
The easiest thing to do is use a friends or neighbors PC.
Better yet find a friend that knows what their doing with a pc
and have them do it for you
I had mp HP fixed by HP and it came with tech support so they actually did the download for me.I really suck at that stuff(if I look at a pc crosseyed it will lock up on me)
IMO SCT should have in big bold letters NOT APPLE FRIENDLY
WHO AND What tunes did you get

I ended up driving to my brother in-laws and using his laptop, it literally took 5 mins once I got a compatible computer lol. And honestly there is enough of us MAC users that SCT should create a program for us to use. I bought mine from Franchie and I'm using the canned 93 octane tune right now as I have no other mods. I love it though. Really woke the truck up. The for tyranny still has a weird shift in my opinion but it will chirp 2nd now. Once I get a intake and exhaust I think it will make a huge difference now that I'm peaking at 18.xx lbs of boost .... It's trying to phill all that air in and push it out threw stock parts lol ...
