SCT iTSX Reviews and Discussion
Greetings! I recently had installation issues with iTSX on my 2010 F150 XLT 4x4 which were FINALLY resolved in the latest update. I don't believe this would have happened without those un-identified applying some well-deserved pressure to SCT! To those unknown I am grateful! Now, I have run the trailer program with 10% shift improvement today in the Florida kKys without my trailer and I was extremely pleased with the mileage of 10 L / 100 km...or 24 US mpg and 28 Imperial mpg if my math is right...at about 70-90 kmh. These are numbers I have never seen with my truck. I do have a Magnaflow cat back exhaust which has also noticeably contributed to this improvement.
Let me know (share) your experience with different setting so we can all benefit from your experimentation!

Hell, I was light on the pedal yesterday on my 340 mile trip and my trip computer read 16.4mpg, so I probably got more like 15mpg. Best I've gotten out of it, ever, was 17.5mpg. I know it's a truck, but a few more MPG's would be awesome. Not to mention a firmer shift and no lag on the downshift when I floor it to pass someone (who's awesome idea was that, anyways?)...

Haha! LMAO (laugh my *** off). Today was a different story kicking it up a bit on the speed in central FL....running 120 km/h plus while pulling trailer and only got about 20 L per 100 km. I guess speed and trailer are not a good combination for any day! And no, I am not surprised.

Towing an empty 6x12 U-Haul trailer the other week, I got 11mpg on mostly highway driving at about 70mph. Driving the truck from North Carolina to Missouri with a 2500lb 5x8 U-Haul trailer, the wife got 13mpg.
How does it shift with the tuner on it?

I am right in there too at the 12 us mpg with 2500 lbs load. The shifting seems to be fine although I would like to experiment with it a bit more. It seems to roll off the line slow and smooth them kick in the pants with a jump and move up through the gears from there ok

Well I'm running the 10% increase in shift pressure, with 87 performance tune, I think the truck shifts too early and seems to lag in 2nd gear. Also doesn't down shift has quickly as I would like, I guess to many years of driving a stick...

I'm averaging about 15mpg when I'm not playing around, I had it up to 20mpg on a 200 mile trip. I was average about 17 around town and 22 highway before the iTSX but I also went up to a 285 70 17 tire at the same time. I will air the tires up (lower pressure for better ice traction) tonight and remove the ballast weight from winter and see how it goes for the next week.
