Default SCT BDX for a 2018 3.5 Ecoboost

Looking at purchasing the SCT BDX for my truck? Any input on whether this is the route to go? Opinions?

Thanks in advance!

Unless things have changed in the last few months, ngauge is the one with the fewest bugs.
everyone has an opinion /choice but 5star has some (safe) kick butt tunes

Would you consider the SCT canned tunes to be safe?

Canned tunes are very genaric, not sure if anyone has one for the 10 speed yet? even back in 16 the stock ford tune was better than sct canned tune. thats when I shopped for a better tune. My lesson learned, read before you buy. Its cheaper to buy a tuner with custom tunes than it is to buy a blank tuner then add tunes later, most custom tunes have support to adjust and tweak as needed. 5 star has lifetime tunes, I think others do, but never looked any further

Thank you for the input . This is the one I was looking at . I spoke with SCT on the phone and they confirmed it works with the 10 speed

For a 100 more get custom tunes with the same tuner. Read up or call any of the tune places (ones that make the tunes, not retailers like stage 3) none recommend sct yet, to many bugs. Canned tunes are useless, Ford stock is better

I have the BDX with a 5Star 91 perf tune in my 18 3.5 and have nothing but good things to say about it. Haven't had a chance to log it yet, but will shortly.

So when yall refer to "canned tunes" what does that mean? I ordered a BDX tuner today for my 2013 Limited Edition F150 3.5L ecoboost. Shouldnt the preprogrammed tunes help with throttle response and add about 20 or 25 hp?
