Default Rough Country trac bars instructions help

Hey everyone!
So I've had a set of the RC trac bars sitting in my garage for a few months now. I have a '15 Screw with 7" ReadyLIFT. I'm asking the forums because it's Monday (Labor Day holiday) and RC is closed. Step #3 of install says to adjust the trac bars to 55.5" overall length before marking the frame plate mount. The problem is I've got the adjustable end threaded all the way into the trac bar....and the overall length is 56.75".
I can't make them shorter. Anyone else have these installed and can measure their overall length? Or provide any insight what to do here?

Not trying to be an *** but, you do have the frame bracket mounted on it when measuring the overall length? The bracket looks to include a couple inches or so from where the bolt goes thru it. Also, I'd reach out to RC and double check with them the listed measurement in the instructions are going to work for your 7" lifted F150. Keep us posted.

No offense taken. I'm not measuring overall length with the frame plate mounted. That would make my overall length even longer then, not shorter.
I'll have to given RC a call tomorrow, I need to ask them about my Vertex rear shock orientation anyway. I'll let ya'll know what I find out.

*edit: also, I bought the trac bars that are specifically made for F150s with at least 5" of lift, designed to work with my truck. I guess all I really need to know is how critical is that 55.5" measurement in the instructions......unless it's not specific to this truck application.

OK, well RC confirmed that the 55.50" measurement is from center of bushing to center of bushing at each end, not the "overall length" of the traction bar. Confusing instruction. Why not just say that then?
