Default Rancho 7000MT

I know Rancho is not the most talked about brand shock on here but I installed Rancho 7000MT rears on my '17 after receiving an O'Reilly gift certificate from my wife and getting a hefty discount. Truck has 38k miles and we noticed immediate stiffer suspension but not too harsh. Loaded some sandbags in back for a snow traction and they softened out somewhat. I like them so far and will update with more miles. To remove originals and install new I had to cut a hole in the Husky liners to access the top bolt. Wish I'd had an impact but not too tough a job.

nice. they will be stiff for awhile but the ride should soften the more miles you put on them

Thanks for the report on these. I’ve been considering a Rancho lift that incorporates this shock.

Our first log trip from MO to Ft Collins CO, about 850+/-miles 1 way. Washy ride is gone, somewhat stiff on rougher roadways but overall much improved ride. My wife thinks so too!
