Does anyone know the restore key number for the edge evolutionEEF2400, I took my programmer out before taking to the dealer, and did not return it to stock, well they reflassed the computer now I can not use my programmer because I did not return it to stock!! Did this happen to anyone else? There is a place in the lightning software that comes with it to restore it, but you need a key number. I tried to call edge 5 or 6 times and was on hold for over an hour each time!!!!!!!!!1

Send Edge an email, I think you'll get better response. Talked to a couple others on another F150 board I frequent who had this same problem and they ended up solving their problem through email. Good luck.

I've called Edge a few times and didn't have a problem getting through. I guess try the email or call a different time of the day.

Newbie question here on tuners. I just want my ttruck to shift better. Would it be a waste to get a tuner just for this purpose. Dont get me wrong, I am not looking for it to bark second but the truck (04 F150 5.4l) just ****s like crap. If I ever do any mods, it would be a CAI and exhaust. Other than that....its a truck.

Dahoopd I have the X3 from Troyer with his custom dyno tunes and I can tell you the truck definitely shifts quicker and firmer, heck she might even "bark" I just can't tell because the AF1 I have is so LOUD.

no, the baseline tunes work very well with the 4R75E(W). The SCT programs do exaclty what you want to prolong the transmission. They only increase line pressure at the point of shift and revise TC lockup for better efficiency. Many of the Ford tuners, including Mike Troyer are EFITO members and have a very good driveline tuning resource. Anyone can tune a vehicle with a manual transmission, but it takes an artist to actually nail convertor lock up and shift scheduling down on the first try.
