So we decided to take matters into our own hands and set out to address this gap in the market. I think there is a typo on the site. It's says these are almost $900.00. I'm guessing there's an extra 0.

They look fantastic, but if they are really $900 that's not gonna happen.

Well for just what it is, door trim, for $1,000. Suited only for show trucks. I know real CF is expensive, but usually its reserved for weight reduction for performance parts, not interior trim.

You say that but the Raptor guys will be fighting over them.

happens a lot when someone brings a new CF product to market. they think they will be able to charge the world for them and get back their initial investment rather quickly but it doesn't work like that. i have been involved in making CF and FG pieces for old 911s and modern 911 racecars for a while and you learn rather quickly that the amount of people willing to shell out gobs of money for real CF parts is pretty small. price them this many times over the cost to produce and you will reduce that to almost nothing.

i just looked on their site. the handles are not included for that $900 price tag - they are another ~$600, so a set of all pieces they offer will drain your account by almost $1,400 while they are on sale!

I don't think you can get CF interior from the factory stock. F150's are way more luxurious now than they used to be. I'm sure people will pay for this product and it looks legit.

you are the target market! you need to get the $600 door pulls to be complete now! :)

A guy with a Raptor just recently post a carbon fiber shifter he bout to replace his OEM shifter handle. It was almost $500 iirc and the only difference was that it had a red strip on it to match the steering wheel.

You would also be surprise with the amount of guys dropping $850 on titanium lug nuts to help with unsprung weight. The Gen2 Raptor guys clearly have money to blow. They are paying at the very minimum MSRP, some pay upwards of $5K over sticker.

Hell the OEM CF door panel inserts and shifter is a $1K option and it's popular. People are seeing delayed delivery if there trucks because the CF is on back order.

We understand this product is not for everyone, but we set out to produce the best quality product and nothing less. Some might say it is excessive to use such high quality materials for an aesthetic application. The door inserts are made with 100% pre-preg carbon fiber (front & back) we make these inserts using the same process as structural composite parts.

As some of you might know, it is impossible to order just the OEM carbon fiber door inserts. You will have to order whole set of door panels in order to swap out the door inserts, which will set you back over $2400! We are offering a much higher value for those who wish to upgrade their door inserts and other interior trims to carbon fiber.

After reading this post, I'm way more thankful and appreciative of my OEM fake CF inserts. I didn't even care for them before, but now I feel like I'm $1k richer.:clap:

I'm quite pleased with my inserts. I think they are suppose to look 'carbon' and that's why I like them. Ford didn't try to fool me and just made the 'hint' of carbon fiber. I'll keep what I have. I can deal with the extra weight. :thumbsup:

Yep $588 for 4 carbon door trims.

seems as if the market has spoken. i wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see the price drop even lower in a couple months. it only took 4 for a 40% drop in the retail pricing but i still don't see many orders being placed at $150 per door... then again i could always be wrong :)

It's definitely niche for now. Having worked with Ford, the trend for truck buyers is changing from the "work truck" vibe to the "luxury truck" mentality. New F150/Raptor buyers are appreciating the luxury features that are normally in a car but being placed into a truck.

These guys deserve some credit. They made a product that no one has can offer and did it with the highest quality materials. I say thankyou for taking the time to bring this product to market!
