Hi, everyone! It’s the Carbon 88 Team! We’re a bunch of car guys with a thing for carbon fiber, and we’ve always been disappointed that we couldn’t find exactly what we wanted for our vehicles. So we decided to take matters into our own hands and set out to address this gap in the market. After a crazy journey from R&D to prototyping to production, we’re finally ready to deliver what we’ve sought for so long.

Long story short – we’re excited to announce our first product to market: carbon fiber door inserts for the current gen Ford F-Series trucks! I think there is a typo on the site. It's says these are almost $900.00. I'm guessing there's an extra 0.

Well for just what it is, door trim, for $1,000. Suited only for show trucks. I know real CF is expensive, but usually its reserved for weight reduction for performance parts, not interior trim.

happens a lot when someone brings a new CF product to market. they think they will be able to charge the world for them and get back their initial investment rather quickly but it doesn't work like that. i have been involved in making CF and FG pieces for old 911s and modern 911 racecars for a while and you learn rather quickly that the amount of people willing to shell out gobs of money for real CF parts is pretty small. price them this many times over the cost to produce and you will reduce that to almost nothing.

i just looked on their site. the handles are not included for that $900 price tag - they are another ~$600, so a set of all pieces they offer will drain your account by almost $1,400 while they are on sale!
