Default Need a leveling kit

So I don't remember what the brand was (revo?? or something like that) but a shop quoted me $250 installed for that leveling kit. I've been reading that a lot of the forum folks like the Autospring but I guess they don't deal with that. So this sounds like a bit for that considering peeps are saying that you can get just the kit for $100. Any opinions? I was quoted around $185 installed for a leveling kit (unsure of brand) at LesSchwab. Thanks for the help

So I'm also thinking of new wheels and tires, would 18" or 20" wheels on 33/12.50 or 35/12.50 work with a leveling kit? Thanks

All depends on backspacing and the width of the wheel.

If you have a 4x4 then you can add 35's with a leveling kit, a 4x2 you can only go 33's with a leveling kit. Backspacing is an important consideration when you're looking at aftermarket wheels. The stock wheels are 7.5" wide with 5.5" of backspacing so you can use that as sort of a guide. So if you get a 9" wheel with the same backspacing then that wheel is gonna stick out 1 1/2 more than stock. If you get a 9" wheel with 6" of backspace it'll stick out 1" more and a 9" wheel with 5" backspace will stick out 2" more than stock. Hope that helps out.

I don't know what it is, but I heard that if you go with 35's it's recommended that you regear? Is that the case with 33's as well? Thanks

If you get bigger tires you will always want to regear, but its not a must have unless you get like 40"s or something crazy.
