Post mp3 input

okay... so I have been using an iTrip to transmit my music from my iPod over the radio and I HATE it! it is always staticy and it sucks! In my truck I don't have the auxiliary input on the top of the dash in the dish but I want to know if there is a way to hook one up without getting a new system. can anyone help me with this? thanks
