I have a 2002 F150 sport V6 4x2. Its mechanical components are failing but all in all the body and frame are in good condition. Id like to swap out the motor and tranny put in a small block V8 and a tranny to handle it drop the rear 2" new wheels and tires fresh paint etc. How do i know what motor will bolt up to the truck and where should i start looking for motor and tranny. I kind of have an idea on the motor but clueless on the transmission want it to stay automatic. Any and all opinions welcome thanks
