Leveling Kits FAQ

I fitted 2" spacers - https://www.roughcountry.com/ford-le...-kit-569c.html
Didn't want to go anymore due to driveshaft angle.
I have standard wheel/tires and the look of the truck is awesome. You can spend $$ on new wheels and bigger tires, but its personal preference. I may fit slightly larger tires when the Michelins wear out.....

When building a new truck to including a spacer is easy, bit working on a built truck to fit a spacer is 3-5 hours work with the right tools and equipment.
Always remember the manufacturing assembly process for a new vehicle isn't designed to help the home mechanic dismantle and reassemble, its designed to make the vehicle build parts and process as cheap as possible.....

So I had a motofab leveling kit installed on my 2019 F-150. Got it back and feel a vibration in the steering wheel and in the front end and is felt from 0-30 mph approximately. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and if so any ideas what it could be. Any help is appreciated!

also curious if anyone has any ideas how to resolve this nose up issue? I looked around but didn’t see anyone else with this issue

I think if you want to solve the nose up thing (keeping your spacers in the front), you might have to put taller blocks in the rear (but I think that also means longer shocks in the rear). Others here might have a better solution.

I have a 2005 F150 2WD & I want to reduce the rake making it closer to level. From the ground to the bottom center of the front center of the wheel opening is 33 3/4" & the rear is 37 3/4" from the ground to the center of the wheel opening. I have 80,000 orig miles & was thinking of going with Rough Country 2" leveling kit w/loaded strut, & new shocks in the rear. It will bring the nose up closer to level with less of a f/e rake. The truck is my daily driver, I will almost never tow anything, & occasionally put stuff in the bed.
2 Inch Leveling Kit | Loaded Strut | Ford F-150 2WD (2004-2008) | Rough Country
N3 Rear Shocks | 0-6" | Ford F-150 2WD/4WD (2004-2008) | Rough Country
This is how it sits now.

2022 F150 XL SCrew - Motofab 2" Leveling Kit
Hello. After a little searching, I've found a few conversations within this thread discussing Motofab 2" leveling spacers but nothing I could see discussing fitment and/or performance on 2022 F150. I recently purchased a new '22 SCrew with STX and FX4 packages. Love the truck, however, I cannot stand the factory rake. Rear wheel well currently sits 4" higher than the front (approx. 41 5/8" vs 37 5/8").. That said, I definitely want to take a couple inches out of the factory rake. Being that I'm running a brand new off-road suspension up front (as part of the FX4 package) I can't justify completely swapping out the struts and have settled on a billet aluminum spacer kit. Also pretty well set on a 2" level as I do not want to go much higher and risk prematurely wearing out stock suspension (unless someone can convince me otherwise). Below are my questions:
1. Does anyone have experience running the Motofab 2" spacers on a '21 or '22 F150? If so, what has been your experience? Close to factory ride quality? Alignment issues? Etc?
2. I do not plan to do any heavy off-roading, just the occasional trip down a dirt road or two track while hunting. If I was planning to do more off-roading, I'd definitely be looking into coilovers. With the majority of my driving being on paved surfaces, I'm assuming I shouldn't have any issues running a 2" spacer leveling kit? I do not plan to go any bigger than stock wheel/tire size. Just don't want to put something on my new truck that I'm going to regret.
3. As the truck sits now, the highest point of the truck at the back of the cab has roughly 3/4" to 1" clearance to the lowest point of my garage door once fully raised. Pretty tight... By my logic, if I raise the front end 2", the back of the cab should remain the same height and still be the highest point of the truck, as it will still have a slight rake. So, I should still have the same 3/4" to 1" clearance. Is my thinking correct on that? I don't want to end up with a truck I can't park in the garage, as that would be a deal breaker for me.
Want to put these few questions to bed before I pull the trigger.
