Leveling Kits FAQ

After reading alot of the threads i'm still as confused when i started?!
2011 XLT 4WD EXT cab, I want the following 305-55-20 but i don't want a huge lift i only drive the truck 7000 miles a year, its used to tow small camper and 2 motorcycles around.
What lift should i go with and do i need a full suspension setup? or can i get away with a level kit? the truck has 55K on it.

Just found this. to the OP thanks for the write up. Looking at leveling my 10 Lariat, and was looking at the ZONE level kit. After some research, considering going with the Bilstein 5100 kit front and back and leveling it that way. I do have one question. Have seen some complaints about rough ride when the spacer is at 2". People are recommending it at lowest level, and level kit with it. Sort of confused me, so wanted some guidance on this.

Asking for a friend:
He has a 2015 xlt 2wd and wanted to fix the front end from sagging. Would yall say a 1.5" spacer in the front or 2"? He doesn't want to get a block in the back, just something in the front level it out.
Thx

Bilsteins with factory ply tires??
Seeing these comments about the 5100's stiffening and making the ride worse make me wonder, is it the shocks, or is it the 10 ply tires that are going on after most of these are installed. I've got a 2" AS up front on mine with 275/70/18 General Grabber AT3's and it rides like hell compared to the stock, 6ply goodyears that were on it before. Anyone ran the bilsteins with the factory 6 ply tires??? Was is noticeable then? I'm thinking about ditching the AS spacers, as the 2" put me nose high, and I don't really want a taller block or AAL in back. Bilsteins were my first choice for replacing the spacers, but not if there going to make the ride any worse. Not looking for the cushy, Cadillac ride like it was off the showroom floor, but definitely not wanting it to turn into an Amish road wagon....

2014 Bilsteins
I just got the 2014 Bilsteins 5100's in the mail. The top 2 settings are for 1.75 and 2.1. Did anyone install these on their 2014? I want to know how true the settings are before installing. I have the 5.0L. Please let me know the size of your engine because probably would be a factor. Thanks.

2017 F150 Height question
Was wondering if anyone has a leveled 2017 4x4 with 33's or 35's on it and could tell me the overall height of the truck. I live in an apartment complex with the only parking being inside of a parking garage and only have 7' to clear into the garage. Thanks in advance.
