Default Leveling kit

I read the leveling kit forum but still have some questions. My husband is deployed and I want to surprise him and finally get some sort of leveling kit on his truck to even out the front. It sits lower than the back. Would you guys recommend a leveling kit? Which brand do you prefer?

Do you or he ever plan to use it as a real truck? Or just haul a couple bags of groceries in it?
They sit higher in the rear for a reason....so if you put a load in the box, or towing they sit level, or just somewhat lower in the back when being used as an actual truck.
If you never plan to load it down may as well just get the cheap front spacers of 1.5 or 2 inches in thickness.
I wish mine bad more rake stock

Ps. Nice to see how much you love and care about him!

Default Truck

Yes, he does some hauling/pulling etc... We are going to be purchasing some farm land soon so it will probably end up being our "work" truck but for now it's his primary back and forth work truck. Any experience with the Bilstein leveling kit?

What is your budget?

If you want the best budget leveling setup, I would suggest Bilstein 5100's front and rear w/ F150lifts.com rear blocks & u-bolts to keep a bit of rear rake. This would run around roughly $480. This would require the front shocks to be installed into the stock springs/coilovers. You would have to check with a local shop to gather install prices. Just make sure you get the correct parts for your husbands make and model.

The next best option would be the BOSS Ultimate kit. This is more expensive but an even better option. Roughly $1200. You could also just get the BOSS coilovers and save a little.

I would call either Stage 3 or F150lifts and ask for their help, they have great customer service.

Where is he deployed?
