Let’s talk Car Seat Covers for 21-22 F150
Recently picked up a new F150. With a toddler and two dogs factored in, I’m set on ordering a new set of car seat covers. Lots of options out there and lots of junk. What have y’all opted for and are you satisfied?
some options I’m considering:
Rough Country Neoprene
Ruff Tuff soft leather
Katskinz
Don’t have to have leather, but outside of the RC…didn’t see many options that were form fitting to these new seats.

I had some Clazzio leather seat covers in my 2018. I was very impressed by the fit and quality of them. These were their most expensive option, the Napa Leather, at $999. But you treat them like any ordinary leather seats.
My former boss had them in his F250 and I was shocked when he told me they were not factory leather seats. Lol.

For the rear seat I would buy a waterproof cover made using cordura material that is not too expensive as it is going to get trashed. Check for the seat covers targeted at hunters. Also important not to have a fabric that will absorb pet sweat and grime and have an odor coming from them.
For the front seats be careful as most of the aftermarket covers have a foam backing and negate the benefits of having heated or cooled seats.
Covers that work very well for the front are these that protect the seat and do not block the heating elements and are quick to put on and to take off.

I put Clazzio faux leather covers on mine. Comfortable and easier on the checkbook.

Beware OEM grade Katskinz with leather inserts for only seat and back.
Installed mine on a 2020 XLT. Only have 15,000 miles and rarely wear jeans but have fake leather surface on seat edge wearing off.
Bought from online vendor-Touch-ups -who advertised 3 year warranty. They won't return calls /emails so called Katskinz- they won't honor warranty since I did not buy from them direct. I have their factory packing slip and factory packaging but no support. Paid around $650 for entire set. plus my hours of labor to install.
Be careful
