Default Header Question

hello everyone,

i was looking to fix up my 97' f-250 ld for my girl. im planning on freshining up the engine and was looking at JBA headers. i already have a true dual flowmaster 40's exhaust system on but its definetly quiter than my 2010 w/ super 44's. i was just wondering how much to expect out of the shorty headers and the difference in the finishes (stainless, silver ceramic, titanium ceramic, etc.) pro's and con's thanks everyone

Shorties will be good for replacement, give a little louder sound, and give a little performance gain. Don't expect huge gains but they'll add a little pep. Stainless that are ceramic coated are the best against heat and rust. Every company has their own "coating" that's suppose to be better than everyone else. Don't get to lost in their marketing hype. Just get some type of stainless to prevent rust and then if you wish you can get a coating to totally prevent rust and help with heat retention.
