Default Fox shox questions

While at a local gun shop taking a hunters safety course today i noticed 3 sets of fox shox in the back with all the random stuff they had piled up for sale. I asked about them and the man said they fit all 4x4 trucks but require a lift. He didnt know how much lift though. The shox's all were in pretty good shape from the looks of them and whats got me considering them is he only wants $150 for all 3. So my questions are
1) good deal?
2) do i require a lift more than a 2.5" front level?
3) do they really just boot on to all 4x4 trucks?
Thanks in advance and heres a picture i got from google! They look just like these but instead of black pieces and stickers theyre blue...

It is a good deal for fox shox. They are all pretty expensive. If they are piggy back shox like in the picture they will only work for the rear end. They can just bolt on to the rear. 150$ for all three is a great deal.
