I'm planning on smoking out the front lights and fog lights. I don't want to lose to vision at night. figured smoking the lenses would take the edge off the HID's.

Wait, you don't want to lose vision at night, but are going to smoke the lights which reduces usable light. In addition to the HID's in halogen housings you are already running which reduce usable light compared to the halogens?

Yeah, I love the look of the smoked headlights on the Sterling Gray and figured if the lenses were smoked, I wouldn't **** off oncoming traffic. Is that really that stupid?

Smoking headlights in any sense is stupid.

HID's in halogen housings in any sense is stupid.

Get some black OEM HID's and get the blacked out look with proper HID's.

I'd love to, but paying close to over a grand on lights sounds ridiculous. I love the OEM HID's.

I can set you up with some Great LED pods and they can be tinted yellow too if you're into that.

Personally, I didn't think it would be that much of a safety issue. I figured with darker lenses, and a brighter light, it would equal out. I guess I was wrong. I'll do more homework. Not doing anything till spring anyway.

I have a comparison shot of SINGLE row Hanning flood beam, and a DUAL row rigid flood beam and the Hanning single row Hanning is significantly brighter. Both were used as reverse lights..
Hanning on the left, Rigid on the Right
What sets these lights apart? they're cheaper than the big brands like Rigid but they use 10W Cree LED Chips vs the competition at 3W. they`re also bigger than you probably think, the Single row housing is 2-3/8"thick, almost as thick as most Dual row bars..

Some pods in single and dual row there.. below them is 20 Dual and 30" Single row
