F-O-R-D GRILLE lettering on 07 f150
I have an 07 f150 n I am getting a new black honeycomb grille. I was going to put a custom grille badge in the middle but was wondering why know one has had some letters made to look like the FORD grille on the raptor.

You have to have specific permission from Ford in order to sell their logo. This is the case with just about any vehicle emblem/branding.
I previously owned a Toyota Tacoma, and the "horned" Toyota emblem was popular among owners. Thing was though, there were virtually never any emblems made with horns that could replace the stock emblems on the trucks. This was due in part of legality issues. However, after a while, one person was able to get in contact with Toyota and buy a license that allowed him to produce the emblems for so many months. He never disclosed how much he had to pay for the license, but it lasted around 9 months if I recall. He ended up CNC machining emblems, and selling them for around $65. He didn't make very many, but I was one of the lucky people able to buy one.
