The Borla touring and s-type are the only two configurations for the Raptor. As for fit on the F150 with raptor design I'm not certain but each borla catback is designed for it's specific engine eg: the raptor borla is designed for the 6.2L so you may not get the desired note if you mix and match.

Ok I have a 99 ford f150 xlt v8 4.6L long wheel base and I am currently useing a thrust glass pack and it is about in the middle of the bed wel I am wanting to remove the pipe and put it right after the Y pipe would that make the sound louder and sound better but it sounds good but at idle you can barely hear it any tips?

I was hoping to see if anyone actually tried to do this. I prefer a S-type with a side pipe, but that is only offered on the Borla Raptor model.

Are you saying you just want to relocate your glass pack ?, because I don't believe that's going to change anything moving it that much, you should look into a magnaflow muffler like an 18-22" length one instead of a glass pack, will have quiet idle but can notice when u floor it.

Get a magnapack. Quite idle (with regular cats), screams on acceleration, and completly quite when cruising. No drone AT ALL. I love mine

I have a 99 f150 4.6 have it straight piped and liked it at first real loud! But I want a low growl but not so choked off that I can't hear it from the cab. Any suggestions?

I have true duals with a flowmaster super 40, and then 4inch 45 degree black slant tips, looks and sounds amazing!

Banks MONSTER si/do with magnaflow hi-flow cats, sounds mean and super deep. Loud when you want it quite when you're cruising! Running it off 2008 5.4L.
