Default Edge Evolution

i bought a used edge and got it today. (its the older version) I was wondering what each setting does? theres transmission only, tow, and high performance. i have it in trans only right now because i dont got 91 onctane in my tank and i didnt know if i should have it in tow if im not towing anything. i know high performance would be the best but which one would make it faster? trans only or tow? thanks

Just do the tow tune. It is ok to run it even if not towing. It will be a huge improvment. Adjust the shift firmness for sure. Leave the shift points alone. Start small with the firmness also. Maybe +10, +10, +6. For the 3 slot respectively. It willl make sense when you see it. The 3-4 firmness should be the 6, and the other 2 are 10. I run mine at 25, 25, 12 but I like my shifts FIRM!!! That is about it until you learn more about how your truck reacts to them. Don't be afraid of level 2. Enjoy it.

I run mine on level 3. I haven't messed with any other settings because I don't want to hurt my truck by me screwing something up.

when it asks if you want to do customs settings, say yes.. then look for them on the screen. adjust as desired, then hit done. turn key off, turn key on (without starting) and let the majik happen!!!
