Edge Evo vs Superchips Cortex
Hello all...I have a 2008 F150 King Ranch 4x4 w/5.4L engine. Only mod so far is Banks Monster Exhaust; will most likely add a CAI in future (probably Banks Ram Air). Everything else is stock...
I do not tow anything, and am mainly interested in improved MPG, with more power coming in a close second.
I have an opportunity to buy either an Edge Evolution OR a Superchips Cortex locally (both used and can get either for $200)...but do not know which one to purchase. I have read hundreds of posts and read numerous articles, but can really see no big difference between the two. Can someone provide some educated feedback on the two tuners, which one I should go with, and why? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Note...I am only interested in one of these two tuners at this time, so please no commentary about going to SCT or another tuner...I've read up on those, and they seem like excellent tuners. However...I am going to make a decision between the Edge and Cortex....THANKS!
