Default don't ask me how in the hell this happened(roush cat-back)

well i was at the dealer getting my oil changed today when i got home i backed into my driveway heard a weird noise got out to take a look noticed my exhaust tips appeared to be higher and farther out

well i looked underneath and some how the pipe got jammed into my leaf spring putting a big dent and cut into my pipe no damage to the tips so i don't thing they backed into anything

don't know if some how when the truck was on the lift and the suspension went slack and the pipe shifted then when the weight went back down it caught

sent an email to roush see what they say... i know exactly what the dealer is going to say( we didn't do that)
all i can say is be careful

depends on what kind of lift they used and if they used any support stands for any reason. usually the lifts lift right from the frame in front of the rear tires and behind the front tires. possible something slipped.

it looks like something dragged across it.

i think what your looking at is from me trying to push the pipe over the leaf was bent down and the pipe was jammed right up i had to put a jack under the frame to get the weight off the suspension to un-jam the pipe

if they won't do anything for me ill be goin to a custom shop and have them bend me a piece so it can exit behind the rear tire instead of under the bumper

roush basically fluffed me off saying i didn't pry the pipe over as far as it needed to go failing to do so can cause the pipe to come in-contact with leafs

so even though i got the pipe as far over to the pass side as possible for clearance it still wasn't good enough when the suspension is at full droop

seems like the engineering wasn't up 2 par

so my new plan is to cut it off behind the bend and have a shop make up a piece with a flare on the end so i can remove it when needed

good luck to all others
maybe i should have used a chain jack to pull the pipe closer to the pass side

My opinion which is worthless, but you shouldn't have to be prying anything to get it to fit correctly if its new from the factory and made for your make/model of vehicle.

That is one ugly slice that happened and it is obvious something happened. I can't help but think something happened at the dealership, especially since you haven't noticed this before taking it into them.
