Default custom center console ideas

Well I found a navigator one for 20.00 its mint, my problem is my trucks a 5 spd. I can take the center where the shifter would go, and the just cut the center out and leave the wood grain. the link shows one that is really close the only diffrence is no slot in the front of it, its completely square. do yall think I can make it work.

well...seeing as how your truck aint a short throw your going to have some spiffy cup holders...but it would be cool to see somthing like a custom fab that goes around the shifter, maybe have some pockets on the side, not sure how much your "throw" is cuz thats going to be the biggest worry. my bro has a center console in his tacoma ill get a pic of it....and show you...

You may have to have an upholstery shop stitch you up a shift boot. Shouldn't cost too much, maybe 50 bucks or so.
