2018 f150, are the box link rev nuts taped?.. or are the tork bolts self tapping? not seeing any threads..

The box link holes in the bed are not tapped if the truck didnt come box link equiped from the factory. I didnt order the box link system on my '18 but got the plates on Ebay so I could mount over the wheel well boxes. The bolts that come with the plates are self-tapping I just screwed them in using a Milwauke 12v impact. They went in easy
