Default Bought a programmer. Need some help please

I bought an Edge Evolution programmer of a friend of a friend for 250 bucks. Need some help setting it up cause its kinda confusing. I am worried because when i was playing with it, it said. Can not do this option, truck this is programmed to must be returned to stock. something like that. Did i get screwed here? I just wanted some extra HP can any one give me some advice on how to work this thing? Thanks a lot for any help or links pointing me in the right direction.

I think it would have to be put back to stock before he got rid of it or the unit would think it is already programmed the truck.

See Bill over here
www.powerhungryperformance.com and he will be able to take care of your questions and possibly upgrade that edge unit for you.

That's it man. If the other truck was still programmed when it was removed, it still thinks that it is in that truck.

Bill and Corey will be able to help you out.

Might want to talk to your friend first. Let him know that his truck is still tuned and needs to be returned to stock so it will work on your truck, maybe he forget to do so.

Hey you need to plug it in to his ECU and then uninstall it. It takes a few min. Then you can install it in your truck. But his truck is probably long gone. Just wanted to get that info out.
