Borla Touring yes or no
OK, so I'm really considering dishing out the money for a Borla Touring cat-back exhaust for my 3.5 EB. I've researched the sounds a bit and it seems to be the one I like best - a little deeper than stock, but none of the harsh "rice" sound and not too danged loud. Relatively drone-free, made in USA (Johnson City, TN!), all that cool stuff.
Anybody want to talk me into - or out of - they purchase. Any experiences with the Borla on a 3.5 EB, or the 2.7 EB?
Thanks, all.

I can't comment on a Borla Touring exhaust on a 3.5 or 2.7 EB, but I do have one on my 5.0 and the sound and quality is great. Also very easy to install if you want to do it yourself. No regrets whatsoever in purchasing the Borla Touring exhaust.

Thanks - I guess I'm just looking for someone to tell me to "pull the trigger" so to speak.
I had a Borla on my V-6 Escape years ago and it sounded decent. You can't make a V-6 sound like a V-8, but you can make it sound a little better with a good exhaust. I listened to Borla's video of their various exhaust options on the 3.5 EB. It has a nice tone to it without going "rice".

A good installation video. 2 hour job on the garage floor, which my aging body doesn't seem to like as much any more...

Borla S 2.7
I did pull the trigger on the borla S type recently and i have a 2016 2.7. Im happy with it. i did dual tubes split out the back and there is zero drone (wife is happy too which is a plus). the kit took me an evening to install (4 hours). No, it does not sound like a V8 but when you punch it, it sounds a lot better than the factory setup and any honda or toyota i’ve heard. The stage 3 video is beneficial so have it handy during install if this is your first exhaust.

I had a 2008 Civic Si - pretty fun, but it had NO ground clearance, and I really had to do some gymnastics to get my aging 6' 2" body folded into the car. Still, a high-revving motor with skateboard handling.
Yeah, these V6 motors won't sound like a V-8, but they don't sound like the 4-banger I had in the Civic either. I like to think that it sounds more like a Porsche or Jaguar.
Actually, I rather like the new exhaust. Not too loud, got a little bit of sound without going overboard. If it was really loud, it would be distracting to me. It's pretty sweet in the 2500-3500 RPM range with a good half-throttle.
